ABOUT

Jeanette Bolton-Martin is a photographer based in Norwich, UK.

Once on the far side of yesterday there was a little girl who dreamed of growing up to be a scientist, specifically a marine biologist. Her name was Jeanette and she ended up becoming a photographer instead, based in the wilds of East Anglia.

When not writing about myself in the third person, my love of science and science fiction drives my personal/research practice. Working across film, digital and moving image, exploring the relationship between art and science, with a focus on landscapes and our changing environment.

Other areas of research include the intersection between photography, memory and time alongside shooting commercially for a range of  clients, from businesses to artist collectives. My commercial portfolio can be found here.
